James R. Tandy has been in practice with Waco ENT since 1995. After living in various parts of the country in his youth, he settled in north Houston where he attended Klein High School. Dr. Tandy graduated with honors from Baylor University in 1984 with a BS in Biology and was honored with election into the Baylor chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. He subsequently attended University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School and was inducted into the medical honor society of Alpha Omega Alpha.
Following medical school, Dr. Tandy remained at UT Southwestern where he completed his general surgery internship and subsequent Otolaryngology residency. He is Board-Certified and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Tandy is on faculty at Baylor University where he teaches Human Physiology and is actively involved with Baylor’s pre-healthcare program. He is an ordained PCA Elder with Redeemer Presbyterian Church. He and his wife, Norma, have four children.
